1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage and session storage are related browser mechanisms that can remember preferences between visits.

We use these technologies to operate the site, remember language and appearance, and, when configured, to load analytics or marketing tags through Google Tag Manager.

2. Strictly necessary cookies and storage

• ns-locale: stores your language preference (English or Italian). Duration: up to 1 year. Purpose: serve the correct locale. On first visit, visitors from Italy receive Italian by default unless another preference is already stored.
• ns-theme: stores light or dark theme preference using a cookie and local storage. Purpose: consistent appearance.
• Session and security cookies: short-lived identifiers our hosting stack may set to maintain secure connections and protect forms.

3. Analytics and marketing tags (Google Tag Manager)

When Google Tag Manager is enabled, it loads tags defined in our GTM container. Depending on that configuration, additional cookies or identifiers may be set for analytics, advertising measurement, or conversion tracking.

Our cookie notice describes essential cookies we rely on to operate the site. Before loading non-essential measurement tags that require consent under applicable law, we configure GTM and the site notice to respect the consent choices available to visitors.

• Tags you enable inside GTM (for example Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or Search Console verification helpers) may set their own cookies subject to their publisher documentation.

4. How locale detection works

If no ns-locale cookie exists, we infer locale from country signals available to the site (Italy defaults to Italian, other countries default to English). When you switch language manually, we store your choice in ns-locale.

5. Managing cookies and storage

• Use your browser settings to delete or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent locale, theme, or form features from working correctly.
• Clearing local storage resets theme preferences stored there.
• Use industry opt-out tools provided by analytics or advertising vendors for tags you have enabled through GTM.

6. Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies may appear when embedded tags fire from GTM, payment flows redirect to Stripe, or meeting links open Google Meet. Review the privacy documentation of those providers for retention and control options.
